TEME Engineering has moved from Stoney Creek to Caledonia, bringing with it 20 jobs. The manufacturing and engineering firm found that Haldimand County offered business value with lower operating costs – such as land cost and property taxes – and a strategic location in the greater Golden Horseshoe.

“At the end of the day, switching from leasing in our previous location to owning property in Caledonia is a better fit with our long-term goals,” says president Paul Halpin. “We’re saving more than $60,000 a year in property taxes alone with this move. We’re excited to be joining the industrial sector of Haldimand County.”

TEME Engineering specializes in assembly line equipment and control handling systems, with clients in North and South America and around the world.

The firm’s new location is 280 Argyle Street North, Caledonia.
