Starting in mid-April Hamilton’s Blue Line Taxi will be offering customers a new option to pay for their fares. The company is installing debit card machines in its cabs and, unlike taxi companies in Toronto for example, there will be no service charge to customers. “We’re always looking to improve our customer service and debit card machines will provide customers another convenience, in addition to being able to pay by cash or with credit cards,” says vice-president Anthony Rizzuto.
