The Burlington Chamber of Commerce is hosting the Mayor’s 2012 State of the City address on Thursday, January 26, 2012. Mayor Rick Goldring will present his views on Burlington’s accomplishments over the past year and challenges for 2012. The event takes place starting with breakfast at 7:30 a.m. at the Burlington Convention Centre at 1120 Burloak Drive.  Advance registration is required with the cost of $25, plus HST, for chamber members and $45, plus HST, for non-members.  To register, visit the chamber website at burlingtonchamber.com.

Cameron Nolan has been elected president of the REALTORS Association of Hamilton-Burlington for 2012.  He succeeds Ann Forbes Arndt and will lead the 2,500-member association, the third largest in Ontario. Nolan has been a member of the association for eight years and is a broker with Re/Max Escarpment Realty Inc.

Ancaster’s Heron Creek Yoga has moved from the Ancaster Business Park to 38 Wilson Street West.
