For the ninth consecutive year, a book authored by McMaster business professor Chris Bart is on the top 10 list of bestselling business books in Canada, as published in the Globe & Mail newspaper.  “A Tale of Two Employees and the Person Who Wanted to Lead Them,” was in fourth spot for 2011. Burlington accounting firm SB Partners has named Mike Kee as partner.  “We knew 15 years ago when we hired Mike as an intern that he would be a sensation,” says Joseph Schlett, partner and chair of the board at the firm.  “In recognition of his contribution to the ongoing growth of SB Partners, we are pleased to have him as partner.” 


Two video producers who had been working on their own have teamed up to form Double Barrel Studios, based in Hamilton.  Roz Allen has worked in video production for Canada’s major television networks, including the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver.  Her partner Lee Hillman, a graduate of Ryerson’s film program, has been producing videos for McMaster University.  Both have edit suites at home but spend most of their time working on projects in the field.  They also develop interactive digital media for their clients.  For more information visit
