The Burlington Chamber of Commerce is hosting a business forum meeting with mayor Rick Goldring on March 27, 2012.   “We have found our business forums to be a very effective way to bring business leaders together with local politicians and policy makers,” says chamber chair Tamer Fahmi.  “A recent survey of chamber members put city spending and taxes at the top of their list of concerns.  This event will provide a unique opportunity for Burlington business people to speak directly with the mayor about the new budget.”

The event takes place at the Burlington Golf & Country Club, with registration and breakfast at 7:30 a.m., and a presentation and question and answer session at 8 a.m.  The cost, including a buffet breakfast, is $20, plus HST for chamber members and $30, plus HST for non-members.  For more information or to register, call 905-639-0174 or visit
